About the Item
Stunning Pair of antique French porcelain "Paris Porcelain" vases; The delicate and colorful hand-painted decorations represent two different rural landscapes with a great romantic imprint
characteristic of the time; The two vases are finished at the base, the handles in the shape of elegant swans and the body always in pure gold, creating a rich and elegant set; In some places the pure gold appears worn, but this makes the two objects much more fascinating and historically interesting. The pieces were made between 1870 and 1875 respecting ancient traditions and the raw material (kaolin) by master craftsmen. "Paris Porcelain" is a term that refers collectively to the various porcelain decoration workshops and studios in and around Paris (France). It is not the name of a single company or manufacturer and is usually applied to handcrafted objects of excellent quality produced between the mid and late 19th century. The producers are in some cases anonymous and generally unknown or have created only a few rare pieces. Antique porcelain objects from Paris are the most desired by collectors and are present in many museums around the world. Measurements diameter cm.8 height cm. 16cm
